Here is a Hollywood actor that I respect for his art. This drawing is based on an article found in the Hamilton Spectator. Mr Downey is taking on the role of Sherlock Holmes. When I saw the commercials he looked to be an action hero. Yes, action hero. I am going to enjoy viewing this portrayal of Holmes. As for the drawing itself? It took three sittings and quite a bit of tweaking of the image. Today I finally got it right... I hope. Enjoy the sketch then, if you haven't seen the movie, watch it.
