Gremlin

So I have been practicing for about a week learning different things. At some point you take pencil in hand and try to learn something new. In today's case it was about drawing hatch lines to mimic shading. Not everything is exciting and hatching and cross-hatching ranks with some of the boring suff. As an exercise I tried to draw a cartoon gremlin and add some hatch lines for shading. Ha... couldn't overcome the boredom of the hatching excercises. Still, the gremlin turned out ok.

It is said that when you start to get frustrated that is when you enter a learning curve. Hmmm... I can agree with 25% learning and 75% boring. Ah well, I hope you enjoy the little guy.
