Pixie
I bought a book recently at Costco. A children's learn how to draw book. Since that is the level I am drawing at it seemed appropriate to pick it up. Really simple sketches which I tend to complicate. I like to lay out one part and then mostly complete it. Then I would go onto the next part. What I am finding out is that to be more accurate overall... you have to block out the scene and parts at the beginning then start to fill in the broad details... then the finer details. That is so foreign to me. lol... no wonder I couldn't draw in the past. Here is my rendition of "Pixie" from the book "Funky Things To Draw" by "Paul Konye" and "Kate Ashworth".
